Chelsea Athletics is set for a busy week of action across seven different programs from August 24 through August 29. Fans heading out to support the Bulldogs on the road should note that visiting schools may accept cash, GoFan digital ticketing, or both for event admission. Football The gridiron action centers on a full Thursday home schedule against Harper Woods at Chelsea High School. The 9th-grade squad opens the day at 10:00 AM, followed by JV at 1:00 PM, and Varsity wrapping up the slate at 3:59 PM. Boys Soccer Bulldog soccer features a pair of doubleheaders this week. Chelsea hosts Adrian on Monday, with JV starting at 4:00 PM and Varsity following at 5:30 PM. Both teams then travel to Tecumseh on Wednesday for matches at 4:00 PM (JV) and 5:30 PM (Varsity). Field Hockey Wednesday brings a home evening showcase as JV hosts Dexter at 5:30 PM and Varsity takes on Ann Arbor Huron at 7:00 PM. To finish the week, Varsity travels to Dexter on Friday and Saturday to participate in the GL Showcase tournament (times TBD). Girls Golf Golf kicks off the week with three consecutive days of competition. Varsity begins Monday morning at Lakeview (9:00 AM), hosts Pioneer at home on Tuesday (12:00 PM), and heads to Polo Fields on Wednesday to match up against Skyline (12:00 PM). Boys Tennis Tennis starts Monday morning with Chelsea hosting the Chelsea Quad at 9:00 AM. The Bulldogs head to Brighton on Thursday to face Pinckney (9:00 AM) and complete their week on Saturday at Holland Christian (9:00 AM). Volleyball The volleyball program spreads its action across three days. Freshmen head to Williamston on Tuesday (5:00 PM), JV plays at Williamston on Wednesday (5:00 PM), and Varsity heads to Pinckney on Saturday morning for the Pinckney Power 8 tournament (9:00 AM). Girls Swim Varsity swim and dive hits the road mid-week, heading to Waverly on Wednesday afternoon to compete in the Waverly Relays starting at 4:00 PM.
