The bright lights of Ford Field are shining on two of Chelsea’s finest today. As the MHSAA Individual State Wrestling Finals get underway in Detroit, the Bulldogs have sent a pair of elite competitors to represent the community on Michigan’s biggest stage. For Collin Beckel and Hunter Burk, today isn't just about another match—it’s the culmination of years of sweat, weight cuts, and grit. --- The Matchups: Determination vs. Dominance Both Bulldogs face steep hills to climb, but as any wrestling fan knows, the rankings fly out the window once the whistle blows. Collin Beckel (126 lbs) Season Record: 47-7 The Challenge: Beckwl draws a powerhouse in **Lucas Christopher of Fenton**. Christopher enters the circle with a staggering 54-2 record. Beckel will need to utilize his technical precision and endurance to hand the Fenton standout a rare loss and advance toward the podium. Hunter Burk (132 lbs) Season Record: 40-10 The Challenge: Burk is no stranger to the pressure of the state finals. Seeking to place for the second consecutive year, he faces Jonathan Davis of Goodrich (25-6). Burk’s experience on the Ford Field mats could be the X-factor in this clash of styles. --- How to Follow the Action While there is nothing quite like the roar of the crowd in Detroit, you don't have to miss a single takedown if you can't make the trip to the 313. Live Stream: Every mat is being covered live on **[MHSAA.tv](https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/associations/mhsaa-mi). Updates: Be sure to follow local sports feeds for bracket updates as the rounds progress throughout the day. "To have two wrestlers of this caliber representing Chelsea at Ford Field speaks volumes about the strength of our program," said one Bulldog supporter. "Win or lose, these guys have already made us proud." --- Bulldog Pride The Chelsea community stands behind Collin and Hunter as they battle through the championship brackets. Whether they are hunting for a medal or a spot on the top of the podium, they carry the spirit of the "Blue and Gold" with them into every period. Good luck, Collin and Hunter—bring home the hardware!
