The Turnaround The second half told a completely different story. Refusing to go quiet, the Bulldogs locked in defensively, stifling Fowlerville's offense and chipping away at the lead. By the end of the third quarter, they had narrowed the margin to 37-29. The defensive intensity reached a fever pitch in the fourth quarter. Despite the surge, the Bulldogs still trailed by two points with less than 10 seconds remaining on the clock.
