The Chelsea Bulldogs varsity girls basketball team is back in action tonight, heading to Williamston High School for a high-stakes MHSAA Division 2 district semifinal. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM. The Matchup: Chelsea vs. Fowlerville While the Bulldogs enjoyed a first-round bye, their opponents, the Fowlerville Gladiators, had to earn their way into tonight’s bracket. Fowlerville faced off against Pinckney on Monday night, securing a hard-fought 46–38 victory to keep their season alive. Tonight's game is a "win or go home" scenario. The Bulldogs will look to utilize their fresh legs after the break to stifle a Fowlerville team that already has tournament momentum. --- The Road to the District Final The stakes couldn't be higher. The winner of tonight’s Chelsea-Fowlerville matchup will punch their ticket to the District Final on Friday, March 6, at 7:00 PM. Waiting for them on the other side of the bracket is the winner of the second semifinal between Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard and host Williamston.
